Felix "Pops" Olmedo June 7, 1949 – August 12, 2024
Felix "Pops" Olmedo was born in Bronx, NY, on June 7, 1949. In 1963, he moved with his family from New York to Miami, where he attended Citrus Grove Jr. High School and later graduated from Miami Central High School in 1967. That same year, he married his childhood sweetheart, and together they shared a loving marriage that lasted for 57 wonderful years.
Felix began his career with Southern Bell Telephone in 1968 and continued his dedicated service with AT&T, where he retired after an impressive 50 years.
A true family man, Felix loved to laugh and joke around, bringing joy to those around him. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, embodying kindness and generosity throughout his life.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Joyce; his children and their spouses, Lisa and Brian Zumbrum, Paul and Victoria Olmedo; his older grandchildren and their spouses, Mathew and Catalina Zumbrum, Cody and Melanie Zumbrum, Derek and Megan Zumbrum; his younger grandchildren, Lucius Olmedo and Jessica Olmedo; his great-grandchild, Damian Zumbrum; and his sister, Milagros Martinez and brother in-law Charlie Martinez
Felix "Pops" Olmedo was the greatest man to ever walk the face of the earth, and he was loved by all who knew him.
