FERMIN SERNA
EDINBURG - Fermin Serna, 73, went to be with his Lord on Friday, June 9, 2023, in McAllen. Fermin was preceded in death by his parents, Severino and Flora Serna.
Mr. Serna is survived by his six children, Fermin (Elizabeth Garza) Serna Jr., Leo (Adela Pena) Serna, Abel Serna, Sandra Serna, Jorge (Miranda) Serna, and Alejandra Serna; twelve granchildren and three great-grandchildren; six siblings, Lydia Cantu, Olga Balderas, Ofelia Serna, Luis Serna, Alfredo Serna, and Benito Serna; numberous nieces and nephews.
Visiation will be from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Legacy Chapels 4610 South Jackson Road in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Legacy Chapels in Edinburg.

I remember my Uncle, he was close with my mom growing up, mom Lupe Serna (Vega) they would walk to school together.till years later mom was married and moved to Salinas CA. The last I saw him was in 93, 94 when I was living g with my grandmother. Will be missed God bless him rest peacefully amen.
