She was born October 25, 1939 in Medora, Indiana to Allen L. and Martha Ellen Corya Hubbard. Fern will always be remembered as a sassy and spunky personality who loved life. She was a loving mother to four daughters. She retired from Rose Acres and Subway in North Vernon. She enjoyed a good race, whether it was Nascar or on the dirt track. She also loved gardening but most of all, she loved spending time with her grandkids.
Fern is preceded in death by the love of her life, Raymond Leon Baughman on December 3, 2003, also by her parents, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughters, eight grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Voss & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 316 N. Chestnut Street, Seymour.
