F.G. Morrow Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by DeArman Pickard Funeral Home - Stratford on Dec. 10, 2025.
Floyd Goodner "F.G." Morrow, 94, of Wapanucka, Oklahoma, passed away on December 9, 2025. He was born on November 11, 1931, in Coleman, Oklahoma, to Floyd Goodner and Iva (Schnorick) Morrow. F.G. was one of ten children and grew up in a close-knit family full of strong values, hard work, and faith.

He attended school in Coleman and graduated from Coleman High School. In 1950, he married the love of his life, Gaylene Tipton, in Sherman, Texas. Together they built a beautiful life and family.

F.G. dedicated 37 years of service to the United States Postal Service in Fort Worth, Texas. After his retirement in 1997, he returned to his home area and built a home in Wapanucka, where he enjoyed the peace and simplicity of small-town living.

A lifelong member of the Church of Christ, F.G.'s faith guided the way he lived-quietly, humbly, and always helping others. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, woodworking, and offering a helping hand to anyone in need. His gentle spirit and steady presence will be remembered by all who knew him.

F.G. was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Iva Morrow; his wife, Gaylene Morrow; his son, Floyd Morrow (2010); eight sisters; and one brother.

He is survived by his daughters, Barbara McDaniel and husband Steve of Temple, Texas, and Valinda Kallam and husband Byron of Weatherford, Texas; five grandchildren-Marshall McDaniel, Chris McDaniel, Grant McDaniel, Clay Crudup, and Brad Kallam; along with numerous extended family and dear friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at the Coleman Church of Christ, with interment to follow at the Coleman Cemetery. A family hour will be held from 4:00–7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 12, also at the Coleman Church of Christ.

Pallbearers will be: Marshall McDaniel, Grant McDaniel, Chris McDaniel, Clay Crudup, Brad Kallam, and Charles Ogle. Honorary pallbearers will include: Flint Morrow, Kenneth Sibley, Robert Prentice, and Damon Sibley.
