Barbieri

Filomena M. "Phyllis" Barbieri passed away peacefully on October 4th, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of unconditional love and devotion that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

Phyllis was the beloved wife of the late Ralph J. Barbieri, with whom she shared 62 beautiful years of marriage until his passing. Together, they built a life centered on family, faith, and the simple joys that made every day meaningful.

She was the devoted mother of Robert (Kathryn) Barbieri, the late Bruce Barbieri, Eric Barbieri, and Donna (Carlo) Santus. Phyllis was the loving "Mom Mom" to Christopher (Lisa) Grasso, Kristen (Dr. Jayson) Lavie, Robby Barbieri, Bryan Barbieri, and Eric Barbieri, and the cherished great-grandmother of Luke, Olivia, and Charlie Lavie.

Known for her warm heart and generous nature, Phyllis lived a life filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering spirit that touched everyone she met. She dedicated herself completely to her family, always putting their needs above her own with selfless grace.

As a mother and grandmother, Phyllis was a guiding light, nurturing her children and grandchildren with kindness, compassion, and wisdom. Her home was her sanctuary, forever filled with the comforting aroma of her delicious cooking-especially her legendary Sunday gravy-and the joyful sound of family gatherings that she treasured above all else.

Relatives and friends are invited to her VIEWING Saturday October 11th, 2025 9:30AM to 10:30AM at the Church of St. Richard, 18th & Pollock Sts., followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30AM. INT. SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to PAWS at [email protected], in honor of the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi, reflecting Phyllis's compassionate spirit.
