Fiona is predeceased by her parents, Mike and Teresa Scanlon, her younger brother Kevin and her Godson, Sean Fisher.
Fiona will be greatly missed by her adoring husband of 30 years, Edward and her loving sons Kevin and Kyle and her daughter in law, Ana.
Fiona is survived by her siblings Ann Maire Smith (Gene), Donna Mauriello (Barry), Michael Scanlon, Claire Boyer (Kerry), Sheila Fisher (Jim) and Ann Marie Scanlon.
She had many loving nieces and nephews and cousins both here and in Ireland.
Fiona was born in New York but was raised in Westwood, N.J. She had a great passion for her family and friends, particularly those who were Giant Football Fans. Fiona derived great joy from watching her team with her husband and sons. Fiona had a great love and knowledge of music of all genres including Irish music. She was considered by many to be an amateur botanist as her green thumb yielded many beautiful flowers and vegetables.
Fiona was a stylist by profession and enjoyed many friendships with her clients through the years.
Fiona had a great sense of humor, and her infectious laugh will be sorely missed.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 16, 2022 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold, N.J. 07728.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at 10:30a.m. at Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, 200 Darlington Ave, Mahwah, N.J. Burial will immediately follow at Maryrest Cemetery, Darlington Ave, Mahwah, NJ.
The Mass will be broadcast through the church's website at www.iccmahwah.org.

My dearest Fiona. You friendship was one of my greatest blessings given to me. I will miss you so very much. I promise to keep Ed, your children and family in my daily prayers for the strength to endure this painful loss until you and I meet again. You, my very special friend, will be tucked in my heart forever along with all my loved ones that have been taken home.

my heart is broken to lose Fiona so suddenly and for the sorrow her family will endure. I pray she is now happily reunited with her parents, her brother and nephew in heaven but she will be missed so much
here on earth May God give strength to her husband ,sons and family
