Firmo F. Bariletti of Greenville passed away on December 23, 2023 with his loving family by his side. He was 97.
Firmo was born on December 28, 1925 to the late Giulio & Maddelana Bariletti in Bloc Sasso, Italy.
Firmo served his native Italy in the Italian Army during World War II. He would later spend a career in the construction industry from which he retired from. He was an avid sportsman most especially enjoying hunting.
In addition to his parents Firmo was predeceased in life by his brothers Fioravante and Eligio Bariletti and sister Teresa Baruffaldi.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 73 years Cecilia Sally Bariletti. Devoted father of Gloria Decker of Shohola, Robert Bariletti with his wife Rogiena of Sweetwater TN, Steven Bariletti with his wife Janinne of Greenville and John Bariletti along with his life partner Jackie Lavandowski of Greenville. Cherished grandfather of Michelle, Heather, Philip, Anthony, Nicholas, Samantha, Shauna and Alexandra. He leaves behind 13 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Reposing Thursday 12/28 from 4 to 7:00PM at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home 154 East Main Street Port Jervis NY 12771. Following the visitation a private cremation will take place at MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers to please make donations to a charity of ones choice.
