Publish in a newspaper

Mrs. Patricia Josephine Ritchie of Port Jervis, NY died Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Milford Senior Care & Rehabilitation Center in Milford, PA. She was 89.
She was born October 21, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY the daughter of the late Charles Martin and the late Hedwig Ligarzewski Martin.
Patricia married Robert W. Ritchie on August 14, 1953 and they were married for 59 years prior to his passing on December 28, 2012.
She was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Port Jervis
A family statement read: Patricia was a very strong, generous and supportive woman. She loved her family, she loved her children and cherished being not only a mother but a grandmother and great grandmother. Having holiday dinners with her family was very important to her and brought her happiness.
She was a no nonsense bingo player and was known for having at least 50 cards at a time but still managed to find spots you missed on your own cards. She also took family game nights very seriously-focused and competitive.
She was an avid reader and enjoyed doing Sudoku. She loved old movies and music. She loved to decorate for every holiday and would festively showcase what the seasons meant to her. She loved to wear costume jewelry and collect Snowbabies figurines. She also had a sweet tooth particularly for cookies and gummy bears. Many of these things took a back seat when she began to decline with the progression of her dementia, however her love of her family and music never wavered. She carried this in her heart to the very end.
Surviving are: Her loving daughter: Deborah DiToto and her husband Anthony of Port Jervis, NY Loving sons: Michael Ritchie and his husband Bob Mortarano of West Palm Beach, FL and James Ritchie and his fiancé Laura of Montague, NJ. Grandchildren: Tricia, Sarah, Claire, Marissa, Jared, Norean, Joe and Amanda Great Grandchildren: Blake, Rosalie and Vincent, Sara, Cayden, Eleanor and Thomas Daughter-in-law: Sue Ritchie of Port Jervis, NY. Brother-in-law: Jerry Milo of Washingtonville, NY Also several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, Robert Ritchie, her brothers, William Martin, John Martin, sisters, Judith Milo and Sue Tynatishon, her sisters-in-law, Helen Martin, Barbara Sinkevitch, Marilyn Smith and Patricia Keane, her brother-in-law, Bob Tynatishon, her mother-in-law Anne Smith and her father-in-law, Gene Smith.
There will be no visitation and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 10:00 AM in St. Mary's R.C. Church, 46 Ball St., Port Jervis, NY with Rev. Anthony Giacona Officiating.
A cremains burial will follow in the Quarry Hill Cemetery, Rio, NY.
