Flora B Lane

March 31, 1955 - July 21, 2025
Flora Belle Lane, age 70, of Ocala, Florida, peacefully entered into eternal rest on July 21, 2025. Born on March 31, 1955, she was the youngest of eleven children born to the late Alma Reid Daymon Merricks and Lee Daymon Sr.
Flora Belle graduated from Forest High School, Class of 1973, and went on to live a life filled with love, faith, and service.
She was known for her sweet spirit, strong faith, and incredible talents. She had a love for baking, crocheting, landscaping, and being actively involved in her church community. Whether she was creating something beautiful with her hands or lifting others through prayer and service, Flora Belle brought warmth and joy to all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Joe Brown Lane, and her siblings: Arthur Lee Daymon, Myrtle Daymon, Alfred Daymon, Geraldine Henderson, Rosa Marie Daymon, Alma Grace Daymon, Benjamin Daymon, Willie Daymon, and Lee Daymon Jr.
She is survived by her loving sister, Lynda Daymon; her three children: Brian Daymon (Vanessa), Jermaine Lane (Sheena), and Michelle Curry; her twelve grandchildren: Tashanda, Talasha, Antonio, Devante, Shemaria, Jeliyah, Jemarian, Jer'niyah, Jer'bria, Jer'brecia, Nigeria, and Antonio; and seven cherished great-grandchildren.
