Margaret Wooten

Margaret Wooten was born on March 18th, 1933, to the late Riley Sr and Bessie William in Fort McCoy, Florida.
Margaret was educated in Marion County Public School System. She married the love of her life Walter Wooten of Bradenton, Florida and moved to Miami, Florida. She furthered her education in Miami by attending Nightingale Nursing School in Miami Florida. Although her nursing career was short, she enjoyed caring for others as that was her purpose. She later took on the most important role a woman could take on and that is the role of a mother. Margaret and Walter had 8 children together. Margaret thoroughly enjoyed her husband and raising her children. She was loving and affectionate and a no nonsense type of person and called it like she saw it. She enjoyed sewing, music, dancing and poetry. Margaret was baptized by her father Riley Williams at the age of 8yrs old at Pleasant View Baptist church in Fort McCoy Florida. She later became a devout Jehovah Witness. Margaret departed this earth on October 30, 2025, at Pruitt Health in Fairburn Ga.
She was proceeded in death by her parents Riley and Bessie Williams, husband Walter Wooten, sons Allen Wooten, David Wooten, Bryant Wooten, grandsons Wayne Wooten Jr, Josiah Terry, Abraham Elijah Wooten, Jr. Brothers Nathaniel Williams, Leroy Williams, Alfred Williams, Freddie Williams, Riley Jay Williams. Sisters Helen Hollis, Lillie Mae Tate, Elizabeth Williams and Irene Baker.
She leaves to cherish her daughters Warita Wooten, Corcedia Wooten-Thurman, sons Abraham Wooten, Vincent Wooten and Wayne (Pamela)Wooten. Special nieces Cheryl (Leo)Sermons, Alice (Reginald)Faison, Tan (Ed)Walker, Ollie (Lewis) Moton. A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and host of loving friends that were just close as family.
