Florence E. Evans, age 98, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2025. She was born on November 22, 1927, in Buffalo, Missouri.
Florence attended Southwest Missouri State University for one year before teaching in a one-room schoolhouse for a year. On February 8, 1941, she married Robert "Bob" R. Evans in Arkansas. Together they built a life rooted in faith, dedication, and friendship.
In 1959, Florence and Bob moved to Blue Springs, Missouri, where they became longtime residents. Florence was active an active and devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Blue Springs.
Florence was preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother, and her beloved husband, Bob, who passed away in 1992. She is survived by three cousins and many dear friends who remember her with affection.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 22nd, at Blue Springs Cemetery. Florence will be remembered for her quiet strength, her commitment to family and friends, and the steady grace with which she lived her long life.
