Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM, Sunday, January 12, 2025, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge for Florence "Flo" Broussard, 92, who passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at St. Agnes Healthcare & Rehab Center.
A visitation will take place at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge on Sunday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert will officiate at the funeral service. Readers will be Linda Dupuis-Geyer and Brittany Donnes.
Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2.
Flo was a devoted Catholic and actively participated in The Catholic Daughters of America and the Ladies Altar Society. For over 33 years, she and her husband operated Ray and Flo's Inc., a venture that showcased their commitment to hard work and community service.
Flo cherished the time spent camping with her friends in the Crawfish Campers group, creating lasting memories and bonds that she held dear.
She is survived by her children, John Ray "Skippy" (Randa Campbell) Broussard, Alan (Laura Lawton) Broussard, and Pattie (Blaise) Dupuis; sisters, Kathleen (Dewey Burke) LeBlanc and Lena (Jim) Martin; grandchildren, Nicole (Ernesto) Weber, Stephen (Ashley) Dupuis, Samuel Dupuis, Stacie (Ryan) McNeill, Brittany (David) Donnes, and Christina Broussard; and her great-grandchildren, Sabri Weber, Adelaide Donnes, Silas Donnes, Barrett Dupuis, Bennett Dupuis, Kerigan Dupuis, Peyton McNeill, and Blake McNeill.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray J. Broussard; son, Gene Broussard; daughter-in-law, Gail Broussard; parents, Joel and Adele Berard LeBlanc; brothers, Floyd (Joyce) LeBlanc and Donald (Aggie) LeBlanc; and her brother-in-law, Dewey LeBlanc.
Pallbearers will be John Ray "Skippy" Broussard, Alan Broussard, Blaise Dupuis, David Donnes, Rick Jacob, and Ernesto Weber.
Honorary pallbearer will be Gary Ayo.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
