She was born on August 3, 1948, in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. Marlene was known for her love of traveling, being outdoors, and her unwavering commitment to her family. She worked alongside her husband in their businesses, never shying away from hard work-whether it meant working in the welding shop, operating a tractor, or diligently managing the financial bookwork. She wore many hats throughout her life, each one fitting perfectly, as she organized and cared for her family with grace and dedication.
Marlene will be remembered for the love and warmth she shared with everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. May her memory be a blessing.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Chris Latiolais; children, Richard Latiolais (Nicole), Tiffany Young (Darrell), and Dawn Latiolais; grandchildren, Ashley Latiolais, Andrew Latiolais, Lucas Robin (Annabelle), Kathryn Robin, Haleigh Young, Lindsey Brasseaux (Blake), and Madison Young; five great grandchildren and one sister, Glenda Wiltz.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Iva Mae Thibodeaux Landry; brother-in-law, Whitney Wiltz; and nephews, Bryan Wiltz and Keith Wiltz.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Marlene's name to Hospice of Acadiana and Calcutta House. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to all the doctors, nurses, staff members, relatives, and friends who provided care and support during Marlene's journey.
