COSHOCTON- Florence Ellen "Flossie" (Parker) Schlarb, 59, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2025 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
She was born Aug. 7, 1965 in Coshocton to William E. and Janice (Dunfee) Parker. She was a 1984 graduate of River View High School.
Flossie loved spending time with her grandkids. She enjoyed cooking & baking for her family around the holidays, and sitting on her deck watching her hummingbirds and the bald eagles around the river.
She is survived by her father, William (Sally) Parker of West Lafayette; her fiancé, James Dodd of Coshocton; her two daughters, Tessa (Samuel) Franklin of Coshocton, and Magan (BJ) Anderson of Coshocton; five grandchildren, Makayla Schlarb, Dani Anderson, Leota Franklin, Brooklyn Franklin, and Samuel Franklin, Jr.; a great-granddaughter, Ariel; five sisters, Rachel (Vernon) Courtney of Coshocton, Billie (Mitch) Berry of Coshocton, Kathy (Troy) Wise of Fresno, Linda (Russell) Fitzer of Coshocton, and Angie (Brandon) Miller of Kentucky; several nieces and nephews; and the father of her children, Charles Schlarb of Coshocton.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Janice Parker; and her maternal & paternal grandparents.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 3, 2025 at Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with Pastor Bill Dunfee officiating. Burial will follow in Coshocton Co. Memory Gardens. Visitation is one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be directed to Fischer Funeral Home, either online on her obituary page at FischerFuneralHome.com, or by mail to P.O. Box 25 Warsaw, OH 43844. Envelopes will also be available at the service on Monday.
