Floyd Berry, Jr. Was born in Pineville, La. On August 12, 1970, to the late Claudette and Floyd Berry, Sr. Floyd Jr. Was baptized at an early age by the late Rev. Alvin Courtney at Greater New Bethel Baptist Church.
Floyd Jr. Was a graduate of Simmesport High School in Simmesport, La., Southern University of New Orleans and Tulane University where he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army. He later moved to San Antonio, Texas and made it his home where he served for many years in Law Enforcement and later as a Quality Control Supervisor for Ground Effects, LTD of Toyota.
Floyd Jr. Was preceded in death by his parents, maternal grandmother Ida B. Harris, and a daughter (Zaria Lynn Berry).
Floyd Jr. Leaves to cherish his memories his wife: Kristina Berry, son Michael Berry and two stepsons Cody Wolf and Casey Wolf. Survived by his former wife, Georgia Berry, and their children, three daughters: Megan Berry-Davis and Kiera Berry of San Antonio, Tx, Jazmyne Berry-Clark (Colin) of Oceanside, California, and Two sons: Brandon Berry and Omarin Franklin of San Antonio, Tx. 5 grandchildren (Malik Davis, Khalil Davis, Ezra Berry, Zoe Perry, and Mateo Berry), Brother: Deldridge Berry of Waldorf, Md. A devoted cousin who is affectionately known as his sister Tonenikea (Toni) Wilson of Simmesport, La. An aunt Delories Wilson of Simmesport, La. And an uncle Dr. Leon Wilson, Sr. (Crystal) of Leesville, La. Step-grandmother Nancy Wilson, two aunts: Belinda McClain and Wakefield, La. Six great aunts: Mary Louise Brown of Simmesport, La., Hattie McGuinn (Warren), Gladys Payne all New Orleans, La, Dorothy Bailey of Wakefield, La., Bessie Bannister of Moreauville, La., and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Honorable Mention: Lifelong Friend Roy Lee Alexander, In-laws Thomas and Rona Richard, Brother-In-law Toby Richard (Michele), Curtis Richard (Jamie), Peter Richard and Sister-in-law Kimberly Perez.
