It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Floyd Edward “Eddie” Foreman Jr., who left us on September 16, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on August 7, 1962, in Welsh, Louisiana, Eddie lived life to the fullest, cherishing moments spent with friends and family.
Eddie was known for his love of playing guitar and riding motorcycles, two passions that brought him joy and countless memories. He proudly served in the Marines, instilling in him a sense of duty and camaraderie that he carried throughout his life. Eddie worked at Napa Auto Parts, where he made many cherished connections and friendships in the auto parts industry.
He is survived by his beloved parents, Floyd and Judy Foreman; brothers, Jason Foreman and Keith Foreman (Karen); and sister, Sonya Greene (Mike). Eddie was also a proud father to his son, Jovan Foreman, and daughter, Kandis Foreman Fontenot. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his grandchildren: Taylon Foreman, Masyn Fontenot, and Brynlee Fontenot.
Eddie's life will be celebrated with a Mass at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Friends and family are invited to a public viewing at Johnson & Brown Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, with a Rosary at 6:30 PM. Visitation will resume on Wednesday in the funeral home from 9:00 AM until 9:30 AM. Cremation will follow the service under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home.
Eddie will be deeply missed by all who knew him. In his memory, let's share stories of laughter, music, and the love he brought into our lives. Rest easy, Eddie - you've earned it.
Eddie was preceded in death by his brother, Aaron Foreman; his grandparents, Elton and Anita Foreman, and Lawson and Eula Broussard.
