Floyd E. Gaume, age 88, of Linn, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024, at Gasconade Manor in Owensville.
Floyd was born on July 10, 1936, in Gasconade County, a son to the late August “Jack” Floyd and Lorene Olga (Reithmeyer) Gaume.
On May 18, 1991, he was united in marriage to Laura Stephens. Laura survives in Owensville.
Floyd was employed at Westinghouse/ABB until his retirement in 1998.
Floyd was an avid fisherman.
In addition to his wife of 33 years, Floyd is survived by many friends.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Morton Chapel in Linn with Funeral Service to follow at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. David Krueger officiating. Interment will follow in Shirley Mint Hill Cemetery near Chamois.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Shirley Mint Hill Cemetery.
