Laura Gaume Obituary
Laura M. Gaume, age 71, of Linn, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Washington.
Laura was born on October 23, 1954, in Los Angeles, California, a daughter to the late Charles Joseph and Lavonia Henrietta (Stiefermann) Stephens.
She was a 1973 graduate of Fatima High School.
On May 18, 1991, she was united in marriage to Floyd E. Gaume. Floyd preceded her in death on November 15, 2024, after 33 years of marriage.
Laura was employed at Westinghouse/ABB until she became disabled in 1981.
Laura was an avid fisherman.
Laura is survived by two brothers, Bill (Cindy) Stephens of Jefferson City, and James Brosius; one sister, Judy (Bob) Condon of Rapid City, South Dakota, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Morton Chapel in Linn with Funeral Service to follow at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Alan Bailey officiating. Interment will follow in Shirley Mint Hill Cemetery near Chamois.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Shirley Mint Hill Cemetery.
