Moultrie, GA – Beverly Jane Tierney Gaume, 93, of Moultrie, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Graveside memorial rites will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Pinecrest Memory Gardens with the Reverend Deacon John Blaha officiating.
Born August 23, 1931, in South Bend, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Frances Gene Tierney and Helen Ethel Conway Tierney. She was a homemaker and was of the Catholic faith.
She was devoted to her family and loved raising children. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, listening to music, dancing, especially with her late husband Bob, and doting on every new baby in the family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert David “Bob” Gaume, Sr.; daughter, Cynthia Christine Gaume; son, Robert David Gaume, Jr.; siblings, Shirley Ann Crimaldi, Gene Francis Tierney, John Kenneth Tierney, James LeRoy Tierney, William George Tierney, Pamela Sue Sheldon; and stepson, Michael Kent Gaume.
Survivors include her daughter, Andrea Nicole Gaume; grandchildren, Robert David “Robbie” Gaume, III and wife Dylana, Justin Tierney and wife Sheri, Megan Elyse Donovan and husband Jeff; great-grandchildren, Randon Michael Smith and fiancé Kaitlin, Kaia Hobson, Ivey Faye Gaume, Emory Gaume, Christian Tierney Gaume and Cailin Gaume; great-great-grandchild, Madison Marie Smith; as well as a number of special nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
