Floyd Dale Neumann, age 91 died October 25th 2025 in Prescott Valley, Arizona. He was born September 18, 1934 in Orchard, Nebraska to Floyd L. and Florence Elisabeth (Bessie) (Jewell) Neumann. Dale attended Rural School and Creighton High School. After farming for two years he volunteered for the draft, entering the army in November of 1953. He took basic training and leadership school at Fort Bliss Texas. He was sent to Korea in June of 1954. He returned home in October 1955. Dale again engaged in farming.
Dale married Marlene Louise Dannert on April 3, 1958. They lived on the farm northwest of Winnetoon, Nebraska. Dan Alan, January 1959, and Peggy Sue, August 1960, were born to them. They continued to farm and raise livestock. Dale also had a feed business and did custom combining and baling. Due to Marlene's health they moved to Prescott Valley, Arizona in January 1974. After moving to Arizona, Dale was involved in the building trade. In 1975 he opened what was to become Neumann Doors Inc., selling and installing garage doors and related products. Due to Marlene's health they sold the business in 1995. They were able to do some traveling before her death in April 1997.
In August 1999, Dale married Joann Curry at their uncompleted new house in Prescott Valley. Dale and Joann have spent their years working in the yard, traveling and volunteering. Dale volunteered almost 19 years at the Phippen Museum of Western Art.
Dale was preceded in death by his wife Marlene, parents, brother Jewell, sister-in-law Irma, sister Carol, brother-in-law Arnold Schmidt, sister Berniece, brother-in-law Joe Ehrenberg.
Graveside Services will be held at Heritage Memorial Park Cemetery on Friday October 31, 2025 at 10am.
Family Requests no memorial flowers or contributions be made.
