Rosalee M. Neumann

Rosalee M. "Rosie" Neumann, 87, of Wadesville, left this world to begin her eternal life on Sunday, October 19, 2025.
Rosalee was born on August 10, 1938, in Poseyville, Indiana to the late Jacob and Matilda Weis. Her siblings included Clinton, Roman, Ruth and James. Rosie married Harold Neumann on September 10, 1960. In her younger years, she worked for Potter and Brumfield and later as a stay-at-home mom to her children. Rosie touched the lives and hearts of many people. She enjoyed volunteering, and was always generous with her time, talent and care of others. She loved cooking, baking, sewing, crafts, playing cards and games, country music and dancing with her husband, Harold. She also enjoyed sending the most beautiful greeting cards to people. Rosie was a lifelong member of St. Wendel Catholic Church and St. Ann's Auxiliary.
Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Harold Neumann; her children, Michael (Katrina) Neumann, Sharon Schneider and Mark (Mary) Neumann. Her children were the joy of her life. Rosie was also a proud grandmother of Jackie (Nathan) Oakley, Ryan (Kendra) Neumann, Shane (Dani) Neumann, Orry (Kaytlin) Weiss and Michaela (Tommy) Pemberton and eight great grandchildren. Rosie was a "Dear" daughter, sister, wife, mother, great grandmother, aunt, cousin, friend and neighbor.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 24, 2025, at St. Wendel Catholic Church, Rev. Ed Schnur officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Wendel Church Cemetery.
In celebration of Rosie's life, friends may visit with the family from 3:00 until 7:00 PM on Thursday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street and from 9:30 AM until service time on Friday at St. Wendel Catholic Church, 10542 W. Boonville New Harmony Road.
Rosie's family extends a special thank you to the staffs of Deaconess Home Healthcare and Heart to Heart Hospice for all of their kind and compassionate care.
