Katherine Mae Holder, aged 85, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Oct 5, 2025, at The Barton House in Scottsdale, AZ. She was born on Jan 21,1940 in Centralia, KS, the daughter of Clifton and Opal (Skillett) Holland. Growing up, she acquired the nickname, "Tucker". Katherine graduated from Centralia High School in 1958.
She later went on to meet her loving husband, Douglas, who was stationed in the Air Force in Topeka, KS, and married on Nov 18, 1961, in Lubbock, TX. They were married for 64 years.
After living in Topeka, Kansas until (1965), they relocated to Lakewood, Colorado in (1975), where she raised her family and held various jobs in retail, banking, and then office manager of their family-owned Heating and Air Conditioning business. In 1996, they relocated to Green Valley, AZ, then Prescott Valley, AZ in retirement, where she had many close friends.
Katherine is survived by her husband, Doug, of Prescott Valley, AZ, her two children, Steven Douglas of Las Vegas, NV and daughter Stephanie Diane, of Mesa, AZ and three grandchildren, Alyse, Kayla and Cody, and beloved dog, Marley.
