Graveside funeral services for Floyd Lamar Price, age 89 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, August 31, 2025, at Westview Cemetery. Rev. Curtis Warnock will officiate.

Mr. Price was born September 18, 1935, in Wrightsville, Georgia. He was the son of the late Ralph Lamar Price and Pauline Johnson Price. He was also preceded in death by his son, Randy Price. He was founding member and Deacon at Calvary Baptist Church where he served as the Head Groundskeeper and Elder. He was also a lifetime member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, Johnson Greys Camp 1688. He was an avid historian and genealogy researcher. He retired from Mohawk Industries and W.F. Jackson Construction Company. Mr. Price passed away August 29, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his family.

Mr. Price is survived by his wife, Jimmie Price of Wrightsville; 2 sons, Reggie (Cherie) Price of Wrightsville and Marty (Sheila) Price of Wrightsville; a daughter, Marisa (Stanley) Sullens of Wrightsville; a daughter-in-law, Lynn Price of Wrightsville; a brother, Joel Price of Tennille; a sister, Melba Price of Greenville, SC; 8 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Lance Webb, Juan Figureoa, Colby Price, Tyler Price, Rudy Kaht, Shane Tanner, Landon Price, and Brent Tanner.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until 1:30 P.M. Sunday, August 31, 2025, at Calvary Baptist Church at 2898 Calvary Church Road, Wrightsville, GA 31096.

Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Wrightsville Chapel has charge of funeral arrangements.
