Floyd Levon Searcy, Jr.

Floyd Levon Mark Searcy, Jr. A.K.A. "Bean" passed away after a long illness on July 9, 2023. He leaves behind his brother Michael Searcy, and his sisters Eileen Searcy and Christine Searcy Downey. He was preceded in death by his father Floyd Searcy, Sr, his mother Linda Lee Searcy and his sister Mickey Searcy Faulstich. Bean was a long time resident of Kenner, La where he excelled in sports at Greenlawn Playground and Boxing for the Kenner Rec. Dept. He followed in his father's footsteps by coaching in Kenner for more than 30 years. Bean devoted his life to children by teaching them his love for sports. Bean will be sorely missed. We take solace in knowing he is at peace with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. A celebration of life was held on August 4, 2023. Thanks to all the love and support that was received by all that loved him. It truly was a testament to how much Bean meant to so many.
