Forrest Sollar, Sr. Obituary Forrest Dale Sollar, Sr., age 56 of Shelby, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at his home.
Dale was born on September 30, 1968 to the late Forrest W. and Barbara (Erwin) Sollar in Galion, Ohio. Dale enjoyed fishing, music, tinkering on cars, anytime and anywhere which involved food. He really enjoyed recreational smoking and watching WWE Wrestling. He will be missed by family and friends.
Those who will cherish his memories are his children: Forrest Dale (Kaelyn) Sollar, Jr of Mansfield, Ohio and his daughter, Bobbilee Loucinda (Justin) Pounds of Galion, Ohio; his step-daughter, Donna (Jason Hillman) Workman of Galion, Ohio; his fiance, Carolyn Franzinger of Shelby; his grandchildren: Austin Spearman, Hunter Spearman, Janesta Hillman, Ephraim Davis, IV, Gabriella Hillman, Shawn Perry, Jr., Siera Tyler, Chad Tyler, Shawna Perry, Nevaeh Perry, Christopher Perry, Mericale Hillman, Don Jay Dreamer, Jr., Johnny Dreamer, Evan Dreamer and Carolyn Dreamer; his brother, Richard (Louise) Sollar of Fredricktown, Ohio; his great grandchild, Isabella Tyler and his previous wife, Pearl Sollar of Galion, Ohio.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest W. Sollar and Barbara
Per request of the family, no services will be held. Memorial contributions may be given in his memory to Barkdull Funeral Home to assist in funeral expenses.
