Obituary of Frances M. Bard
Mrs. Frances M. Bard, 82, went to be with her Lord and Personal Savior on February 14, 2023. A celebration of her life will be held Monday, February 20, 2023 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. A visitation will be held one hour prior at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home, between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM. A committal service will immediately follow at Parkway Memorial Gardens where Frances will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband.
Frances was born on April 16, 1940 to the late Laura and Harvey Mullis. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Robert E. Bard. Frances was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed bible studies, participating in her women's group and was an avid reader. More importantly, she was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Frances is survived by her beloved children: Helen K. Quinton, Janet Bard, and Robert C. (Karen) Bard; grandchildren: Meagan (Donovan) Borders and Danielle (Cody) McCallum; great grandchildren: Miller McCallum, McClain McCallum, Maverick Borders, and Mullis Borders; siblings: Judy Walker and Hazel Horn; and a host of extended friends and family.
