Mrs. Frances L. Brown, age 84, beloved wife of 60 years to the late Joseph Buster "Buck" Brown, Jr. entered into rest on Monday December 8, 2025.
She is survived by her son Joseph Buster (Robin) Brown, III.; daughter, Rhonda Yvette Scoggins; grandchildren, Madalyn Brown, Roy Scoggins, Morgan (Tripp) Gaines, Amy (Codi) Trotter, Meredith Brown; great grandchildren, Sophia Brown, Seth Blandenburg, Wyatt Gaines, Waylon Gaines, Wesley Gaines and Brooks Trotter.
In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Norma Logan; son in law, Frank Scoggins; sister, Nancy Woodruff; and brother, David Logan.
Mrs. Brown was a member of Curtis Baptist Church in Augusta, Ga. She sang in the choir and she was a part of the church's senior group called the "Happy 39ers". She was a loving mother and granny. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A funeral service honoring her life will be held in the chapel of Jackson Memorial Funeral Home on Wednesday December 17, 2025 at 2PM with Pastor Mark Sterling officiating. The interment will immediately follow at the Historic Graniteville Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be: Tripp Gaines, Codi Trotter, Allen Cross and Gabriel Reyes. Honorary pallbearers will be: Tom Lowry and Barry McDonald, Sr.
