Frances Elaine Craig, age 67, of Chesnee, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Spartanburg Medical Center.
Frances was born on June 7, 1957, in Charlotte, North Carolina, a daughter of the late Willie Pressley Craig and Deaver Lee Craig. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother, and family was very important to her. She enjoyed fishing with her grandchildren, collecting Native American artifacts, and tending to her flowers, especially her roses.
Left to cherish her memory are a daughter, Amber Clayton, and husband, Michael, a son, Daniel Wilson; three sisters, Joyce A. Craig, Betty Baker, and Nancy Gibson, and husband, Thomas; a brother, Robert "Buddy" Craig, and wife, Evelyn; sister-in-law, Joyce M. Craig; grandchildren, Jacob Clayton, Hailey Clayton, and Trenton Wilson; and niece, Jessica Baker. In addition to her parents, Ms. Craig was predeceased by her brother, Deaver "Sonny" Craig.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Michael Roark of Agape Care of South Carolina and the nurses of the Spartanburg Medical Heart Center - Floor 5 for the compassionate care provided to Frances.
