Dianne Fair, 74, passed away at her home on Friday, July 5, 2024, after a short illness.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Lawrence Fair, Sr., and Doris Chancey Fair, and infant sister, Rose Anne.
Dianne is survived by her brother, William Lawrence Fair, Jr.; her aunt, Barbara Crox; numerous cousins and special friends Sandy Sodemann and Judy Elliott. She is also survived by her sorority sisters of Beta Sigma Phi.
She received a Master of Education degree from The University of Tennessee and retired from Prospect Elementary School after 41 years of teaching and was inducted in to the Teaching Hall of Fame.
A funeral service will be held at Poole Funeral Home at Fike Chapel on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens.
