Frances Wood Gregory
Aiken, SC - Entered into rest Friday, March 24, 2023 at the Carlyle Senior Care of Aiken. Mrs. Frances Wood Gregory, age 72, celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Cole Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brancie Stephens officiating. Interment will follow at Aiken Memorial Park. She was the beloved wife of the late Mr. Donnie Gregory. She was born in Aiken, SC to the late Mr. Joby Wood and the late Mrs. Vera Newsome Wood. Mrs. Gregory attended Christ Central church in Aiken. She loved to listen to gospel music, and some country music. She enjoyed watching the Three Stooges, and enjoyed reading her Bible and mail. She also enjoyed having lunch with her friends. Mrs. Gregory was always willing to help anyone. Survivors include two brothers, Joby (Dot) Wood Jr., Augusta, GA, and James Wood, Trenton, SC; and one sister, Linda Plair, Tifton, GA. A visitation will be held from 6-8 Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at COLE FUNERAL HOME, 1544 UNIVERSITY PKWAY (118 BYPASS) AIKEN, SC 29801 803-648-7175.
