Frances Carol Davis Hall, age 86, of Springfield, KY passed away at 9:50 a.m., Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at her home.

A native of Taylor County, KY she was born on September 19, 1938 to the late Jasper Hugh "Jack" and Fannie Lee Coontz Davis.

She was a member of the Springfield Baptist Church and a graduate of Taylor County High School. Frances was a blessed wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she excelled in cooking and baking having operated the Bread Basket from her home and also served as the church hostess for several years and was known for her great homemade rolls and donuts. For many years she assisted in managing the family dairy farm while enjoying her hobby as an artist. She then became a special caregiver to her husband, Donat.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Hugh Donat Hall on December 11, 2007; a son, David Keith Hall on November 12, 2017; a sister, Jeanette Henderson on February 11, 2009 and a brother, George W. Davis on June 4, 1983.

Survivors include a son, Wayland Hall; two daughters, Sherri Hodgen (Robert) and Sharron Cambron (Kurt); a daughter-in-law, Debbie Mattingly all of Springfield; nine grandchildren, Amelia Yaste (Jeremy), Robert Thomas Hodgen III (Sheena), Mary Bess Agee (J.T.), Kristin Cambron, Emily Cambron, Callie Cambron, Coleman Olbers, Isaac Mattingly (Jenna) and Eli Thomas; seven great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Rose Davis of Napa, California and four nieces.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 20th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Tobe Yankey, officiating.

Burial will be on Cemetery Hill.

Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Thomas Hodgen III, Jeremy Yaste, J.T. Agee, Isaac Mattingly, Eli Thomas and Danny Thompson.

Visitation will be after 12 noon Sunday at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made to, International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. "I will bless those who bless Israel" Genesis 12:3.
