She was born in Batavia, New York on July 13, 1947 to the late Austin Adam and Elizabeth Mary Hunt Weiler.
She was a graduate of Lafayette High School in Lexington and the Eastern Kentucky University. She was a retired teacher for the Washington County School System and St. Dominic School. Marlene was active in the Homemakers Club and the Washington County Retired Teachers Association.
Survivors include her two sisters, Barbara Jean Tuson of Orlando, Florida and Kathie (Steven) Eggers of Louisville; four nieces, Sharon Riegler, Christine Covington, Jessica Buttes and Erin Hayes; three great nephews and three great nieces.
Cremation was chosen and no services are planned at this time.
Carey & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
