From the moment Peyton Robert Frost entered this world on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at 6:50 pm to the moment he departed it on Saturday, July 26, 2025, he knew nothing but love. He spent every moment of his life surrounded by his family, and the moment his heart was made whole, he moved from his mother’s loving arms into the arms of Jesus. Though he was prayed for by the multitudes starting years before he was born, he was born with a greater purpose than this life could hold. Though the number of days he spent on this earth was far too few, every moment was filled with love, light, and awe at his absolute perfection. Though he will never speak a word, his presence spoke volumes, and the lives he touched are immeasurable.
Peyton enjoyed his mommy’s beautiful singing voice and peacefully closed his eyes for the last time to the sweet sounds of “Jesus Loves Me.” He loved looking into his Mommy and Daddy’s eyes and being snuggled up tight and warm. Peyton knew how much he was loved by God because his daddy told him this every night after bedtime prayers. He now walks hand in hand with our loving Heavenly Father, his Papaws Bob, A.M., Arnold, and a host of other family members who simply couldn’t wait another moment to meet this special little boy.
Peyton will forever be remembered and cherished by all who loved and prayed for him. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Robert (Bob) Frost. He is survived by his loving parents Greg and Sierra Frost; his grandparents Donna Frost, and Gail and Clyde Nantz; great grandmother Catherine Brock; Aunts and Uncles Jeff and Robin Frost and Andrew and Kaylee Nantz; First Cousins Harper and Ella Nantz, Isabella Frost, Karra (Kevin) Merida, and Lauren (Coty) Walters; Second Cousins Kenleigh, Kassidy, Kole, Maggie, and Lilly; and a host of other friends, family, and loved ones, including his very own special guard dog Oscar Franklin Frost.
During his time with his family, he only knew hope, faith, and true, unconditional love. Lord, may we find comfort in knowing his home is in Heaven, and may he rest in that perfect peace, wrapped in the love that never left his side.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at the Conway Boatman Chapel at Union Commonwealth University from 12:00 to 2:00 pm. Funeral Services will follow at 2 pm. Burial will take place at the Barbourville City Cemetery.
Services will be presided over by Rev. Jeff Frost and Rev. Reed Brock.
