Frances M. Harpring, 73, of Westport, passed away at 10:30 a.m. October 5, 2025, at her daughter's home in Milford. She was born on June 7, 1952, in Parker City, Indiana, the daughter of Francis Vardaman & Marcella (Brooks) Oliphant. She was a former resident of Hagerstown and Rushville. Frances enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, fishing, camping and gardening. She married Johnny W. Harpring on February 14, 1998, in Carrolton, Kentucky and he survives. Other survivors include her daughter, Michelle N. (Charles) Lane of Greensburg; her sons, Chris L. (Brandi) Flynn of Greensburg and Shawn (Alison) Fisher of Fairborn, Ohio; her sister, Diane Lunsford of Lake Havasue, Arizona; her brothers, Edward (Brandy McClurg) Oliphant of Hagerstown and Robert (Ginny) Oliphant of Melbourne, Florida; her 15 grandchildren, Kaden (Jade) Creamer, Gus, Paisley, Maverick, Gage, Sammi, Eli Lane, Megan Flynn, Isaac (Rachel) Flynn, John (Jenny) Flynn, III, Wyatt and Ty Flynn, Shawn (Katie) Fisher, Jr., Michael Fisher and Haylee Fisher. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, John E. "Jay"Flynn, II; daughter, Tiffany Marie Flynn; her brother, Paul Eugene Oliphant and her granddaughter, Piper Marie Flynn. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Pastor George Willette. Burial will follow at Westport Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9 from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
