It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Frances C. Hermann, age of 90, from Pine Bush, N.Y. on Monday, April 7, 2025.
Frances was born on February 17, 1935 in Brooklyn, New York to the parents of Bernard and Catherine Riebow. She married the love of her life Cornelius J Hermann Jr. on December 18, 1954 in Nanuet, New york. Out of the union came four children who survive her today.
Neil Hermann of Middletown, NY.
Arthur Herman and partner Amy Carpenter of Dallas, GA and his child Jessica
Hermann and her husband Jonathan.
Susan Goldstein and her husband Fred of Pine Bush, NY and her children Natasha Joerger and her husband Paul and their children, Michael and Madison, Amanda Singleton and her husband Dave and their child Declan.
Larry Hermann and his wife Connie of Hiriam, GA and his daughter Kristy Young and her husband Bryan and her children, Aiden, Kyle and Khloe.
She is also survived by her siblings Catherine Uettwiller and Ann Levine of Dallas, GA and Richard Riebow of Queensbury, NY along with many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Cornelius J Hermann Jr. and daughter-in-law Thongpeo Hermann.
Frances was as a member of Christian Faith Fellowship Family Church in Middletown, New York. She enjoyed spending time with her family, attending her grandchildren's sporting events and her favorite hobby, shopping.
Frances was a devoted mother and grandmother who always put others first. She always had everyone's best interest at heart. She loved unconditionally and without judgment. Her kindness, compassion and caring heart set her apart. She lived life to the fullest and had quite the adventurous side. She was known as "Dizzy Lucy" as she could always be found doing daring things, such as dying her hair wild colors or jumping into pools even though she couldn't swim.
She was the light of our family and the glue that held us all together.
A celebration will be held at a future date for immediate family members only.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in France`s name may be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.
