Frances Laverne Hiser, a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on May 25, 2025, at the age of 94, in Lubbock, Texas. Born on February 15, 1931, in Watonga, Oklahoma. Frances dedicated her life to her family and home, embodying the spirit of a devoted homemaker throughout her years.
Throughout her life, Frances radiated warmth and kindness, sharing her love through the simple yet profound joys of family gatherings, home-cooked meals, and countless memories that will forever be held dear. She was a source of strength and wisdom, always offering support and encouragement to her loved ones.
She was a dedicated hard working woman owning the Square Donut shop in Plainview, TX along with donut shops, restaurants and a grocery store in Lubbock, TX with her husband for about 18 years and working for Wal-Mart for 20 years before retiring to travel and take care of her husband. She loved going camping in the mountains and going to the lake to go fishing.
Frances is survived by her daughter, Betty Campbell and her spouse George Campbell; her son Grady Hiser Jr. and his spouse Delores Hiser; her daughter, Janet Begun; brothers Raymond Hinsley, Tommy Hinsley, and Don Hinsley; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 24 great great grandchildren. Her strong family bonds were the foundation of her vibrant life, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Hiser, Sr., father, Richard Hinsley, mother, Lorene Hinsley, four brothers, seven sisters, a grandson Christopher James Hiser Sr., daughter-in-law Tracy Ann Hiser, and a son-in-law Steve Begun.
