Frances Lesner Obituary

Published by Legacy on Aug. 5, 2024.
Frances Lesner, beloved wife of the late Patrick, of White Lake, Michigan passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 4th, at the age of 83.
Frances was born on February 26, 1941, in Detroit Michigan to Frank and Helen (Rynicki) Taube. Frances went to Catholic School in Detroit, where she met many lifelong friends, and was a cheerleader. It was near her childhood home, where Frances met her husband, Patrick. They eventually moved to Waterford, Michigan, where they built their loving life together.
Frances was an avid gardener, who found joy in nature and in watching all of God's creations grow. She enjoyed the excitement of movies, especially when watching them at the theater. But, above all, Frances loved to spend time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She loved the thrill of drinking a margarita or sipping a beer, next to a bon fire, surrounded by the conversations of her family.
Frances was the loving mother of Donna (Jamie) Fordyce, Angie Lesner, Patrick Lesner (Neil Hilton), Mike (Lynn) Lesner, Dan Lesner, Joe (Sue) Lesner and Monica (Ryan) Sibel; Cherished grandmother of Dan (Erica), Justin, Jacob, Samuel (Samantha), Sean, Alex (Nate), Summer, Noah, Abby (Joe), Hannah, Norah, Ethan, Maya, Violet and Luca; Great-grandmother of Alexis, Nico, Skylar, Evan and Jaxon. Dear sister of Tom Taube, John (Carolyn) Taube, Jim (Mary Ann) Taube, and preceded in death by Frank Taube, Joan Cleveland and Tony Taube; Sister in law of Peggy Taube. Mrs. Lesner was a member of St. Perpetua Catholic Church.
A Memorial Mass will be held at on Friday, August 16, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Perpetua Catholic Church, 134 Airport Road, Waterford. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 10:30 a.m. until time of Mass. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Association.
