She was born October 23, 1942, in Memphis, TN, to the late Henry and Lucille (Buckingham) Drannon.
Frances was known for her strength in prayer and love of Christ that showed through her service to others. She loved her family and enjoyed spending as much time with them as possible. Throughout her following of God, she was able to bethe Director of Religious Education at Catholic parishes in Mobile, AL and Memphis, TN. She was a member of St. Marthas Catholic Church in Ashland City, TN. "Well done good and faithful servant'
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Don Moore; brother, Henry Drannon; and sister, Mary Lou Smiltnieks. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, David (Kandy) Almond; daughter, Anna (Bryan) Rumfola; brothers, Tom (Martha) Drannon and Larry (Pat) Drannon; sister, Jennie (Scott) Poole; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will take place on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at St. Marthas Catholic Church, 3331 Bell St, Ashland City, TN; at 2:00 p.m. with Father Butler officiating, with a visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be Monday, July 8, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. in Calvary Cemetery in Memphis,TN.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Marthas Catholic Church, 3331 Bell St., Ashland City, TN 37015
