Frances M. Rittenhouse (Grams), age 90, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2025, surrounded by family. Born on September 25, 1935, she was the oldest of four children and spent her life devoted to love, family, and faith. Frances was proceeded in death by her husband, Frank Rittenhouse, her parents James and Mabel Hightower, and her siblings Barbara Newberry, Dolores Smitherman, and James Hightower. She was a loving wife and the proud mother of four children Frank Rittenhouse Jr., Sandy Rittenhouse, Carol Dusenbery, and Kim Naugle (Chris). Her family continued to grow through the generations, blessing her with eight grandchildren, Trey Rittenhouse (Stephanie), Nathan Rittenhouse, Jessica Nicklay (Jim), Jack Harris Jr. (Megan), Keith Dusenbery, Sunny Rae Reyes (Edward), Danielle Roberts (Keith), Samantha Naugle, and a host of great-grandchildren who brought her endless joy. Frances cherished time with her family above all else and leaves behind a legacy of love. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Baptist Hospice, her devoted caregivers Eric Williams and Virginia Sparks, and to all friends and loved ones for their prayers, support, and compassion. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Hernando Funeral Home from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed immediately by the funeral service.
