Frances J. Williams, 84, of Cyclone, passed away Friday, November 17, 2023, at her son's residence in Bradford.
Born December 19, 1938 in East Otto, NY, she was a daughter of the late Willard Marshal and Doris Mae (Harvey) Frank. She attended school in Salamanca and Cattaraugus NY.
On July 28, 1956 in Salamanca, NY, she married James E. Williams, who passed away July 12, 2017.
Fran was a homemaker who enjoyed baking, cooking and was famous for her homemade breads. She enjoyed camping, camp fires and singing Gospel and Bluegrass music. Her greatest joy was playing Bingo.
Surviving are five children, Diane (Larry Perry) Cole of Rochester, NY, Randy (Dawn) Williams of Alton, NY, Laura (Richard Brewster) Williams of Dushore, Frank (Tammy) Williams of Rixford, and Tom (René) Williams of Bradford, 16 grandchildren, Daniel Lyons, Katie Fitzsimmons, Roxanne Bornheimer, Rachel Williams, Dustin Williams, Tara Hensley, Bryan Williams, Robert Williams, Kaden Williams, Madison Williams, Michael Williams, Liza Williams, Troy Reed, Chad Reed, Lucas Williams and Aaron Williams, several great-grandchildren, many great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, granddaughter, Kami Leakey, two sisters, Cora Bennett, and Mary Gasper, three brothers, Clark "Poncho" Frank, David Frank, and Hiram Frank.
A celebration of Fran's life will be held on December 2, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Norwich Fire Hall in Crosby.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc.
Memorials if desired, may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
