Francie Lou Mary Rose Garcia

Francie Lou Garcia passed peacefully and was called home to the Lord on Tuesday, April 8, at the age of 78. She was born to Lawrence & Ida Garcia on October 18,1946 in Farmington, NM.
Francie Lou is survived by her daughter Juanita Edstrom, husband Mark; her brothers & sisters; Michael Garcia, Rose Marie Cardoza (Daniel), Frankie Garcia, Susie Garcia, and Lawrence Garcia; her grandchildren; Tara Lynn, Michelle Lynn, Jessica & Jacob White; two great grandchildren; Luke & James; three best friends who were more like sisters to her; Mary Garcia, Sandy Kennedy, & Karen Smith. She has left behind several other beloved family members who will miss her dearly.
She is preceded in death by her parents and infant daughter, Anita Archuleta; sister Sadie Rodriguez; former husband Roldan Archuleta.
Francie Lou graduated from Farmington High School. She was a dedicated employee of BHP Billiton Mine for 33 years before retiring. She was a faithful woman of God, loving mother and wonderful grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, talking with loved ones, and baking for others, especially biscochitos. She was hardworking, honest, giving, caring, independent and extremely strong willed. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
