Francine R. Greff, age 84, passed away on February 10, 2025 in Boca Raton, FL. Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Belle Wolpert. She is survived by her husband, Herb Greff; sons, Joel (Stacey) Greff and Michael (Nancy) Greff; brother, Stephen (Jill) Wolpert; grandchildren, Alex, Brandon, Josh, Ben, Sophie and Noah; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Francine was a matriarch in the true sense of the word. She was a teacher professionally until she retired from Columbus Public Schools teaching elementary education and children with learning differences.
She along with her dear friend Gwen Schwartz z"l served the community with a kosher pastry catering business Balabusta Bakers for many years. She spent years of service to Agudas Achim Youth and Sisterhood as well as the American Culinary Federation both locally and nationally. Francine loved nothing more than for her family to be together whenever and wherever it was possible.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at Epstein Memorial Chapel, 3232 E. Main St. Internment at the New Agudas Achim Cemetery. Shiva will be held at the Greff Residence, 121 S. Broadleigh Rd, Columbus, OH 43209 from 4-7pm Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. Minyan will be held at 7am on Thursday and Friday and 8:30am on Sunday. Mincha and Maariv will be held at 5:50pm Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday and Monday.
Contributions in Francine's memory may be made to Columbus Torah Academy.

My deepest condolences to Herb and the family. Heaven has gained a beautiful Angel inside and out from the time I got to meet you Fran many many years ago I can say you will truly be missed by me and all that had the opportunity to meet you. Rest well love you and I will miss you Colleen your Florida Hairdresser.
