My thoughts are with the Haddy family. I grew up on Jefferson Ave. (#34) and I was a friend of Francis since I was six years old. I have fond memories of Francis and the Haddy family from that friendship. His Mom Mary was my second grade teacher at Park Ave. School. She was one of the best teachers I had. Francis joined me and my parents on a week long trip to a Vermont home that we rented sometime around 1964 or so. I believe I still have a picture of him from that trip if the family is interested. In later years, Frank and I would hang-out on Jefferson Ave. will all the gang. Frank was gone too soon, and from what I have seen on Facebook (where we were friends for a number of years) he has left a good and lasting legacy. May he rest in peace.
