Francis Farr “Spud” Conrad, 79, died Tuesday, April 18, 2023. Born in Vero Beach, FL, he was the son of the late Raymond Farr Conrad and Rada Marie Cameron Conrad. He grew up in White City, Florida. Spud, as he was affectionately known, enjoyed telling stories, hanging out with family and friends, often talking for hours. He also enjoyed Nascar, being outside, and watching westerns. Most of all, he loved his family, especially Candy, his wife of 48 years, his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Candace Tinney Conrad, of the home, his son, Mark Aaron Conrad (Carrie), of Cheraw, SC, his daughters, Summer Conrad Owen (Joey), of Chesterfield, SC, and Melissa Hendricks, of Amarillo, TX, and his grandchildren, Cam Owen, Laney Owen, Luke Owen, Emery Conrad, Ava Conrad, Lexi Jordan, Liam Jordan, and Skye Jordan.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Dwayne Conrad, and his brother and his sisters.
A private service will be held at a later date.
Kiser Funeral Home has been entrusted to serve the Conrad family during their time of grief.
