Francis Louise (Mason) Wyatt gained her angel wings on October 31, 2025, at the age of 83, in her home surrounded by her beloved family. She was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on February 3, 1942, to James I. Mason and Bessie Mae (Forrest) Mason. Francis was the baby of the family and raised on the family farm in Noble, Oklahoma.

She graduated from Noble High School in 1960. She soon began working at OU. While there, she met her future husband, Melvin Wyatt. They were married for forty seven (47) years. Together they raised four children from Melvin's previous relationship, two children they had together, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She loved to do her word searches, play dominoes, play card games, and dote upon her little dogs, Copper and Puff– Puff, but she loved her family more than anything. Over the years, she adopted more people into her family through friendships and marriages. Once she became a grandmother she was no longer known as Francis. Her name was forever changed to Meme. If you were ever needing her, you always had to check the kitchen first. She was always cooking. It was her love language and the way she knew her babies were taken care of. She was magic. It was amazing how she made a small amount of food feed so many people. You never left her house hungry. She was in her element during the large Putman family reunions and gatherings over the years. She was always told she had to bring her famous meatloaf. She usually brought multiple.

Francis was preceded in death by the love of her life, Melvin Lee Wyatt, her father, James I. Mason, her mother, Bessie M. Mason, brother, James F. Mason, sister, Bessie Carmack, her dear stepdaughter, Charlena Mitchell, sons-in-law, Tracy Harvey, and Greg Willis, a lifetime of extended family and friends, and her precious dogs, Copper and Puff.

She is survived by her children: Tammy Willis, of Oklahoma City; Allen Wyatt and his wife, Martha, of Oklahoma City; Stepchildren, Teresa Raines and her husband, Wayne, of Harrah; Richard Wyatt and his wife, Cheryl of Oklahoma City, and Debbie Wyatt of Shawnee. She leaves behind her grandchildren: Joe and wife, Lisa, Joshua and wife, Angela, Heather and husband, Joby, Travis and wife, Ashley, Cody and wife, Maci, Kinnith and wife, Ashlei, Emily and husband, Noah, Morgan and husband, Jacob; numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great- grandchildren. She is also survived by her older sister, Ivy. She also leaves behind many other family members, and dear friends, who will greatly miss her.
