Kika was a proud resident of Oxnard, CA for most of her life where she worked in packing houses for agriculture season after season. She enjoyed spending time with family, neighbors and friends, was very dedicated to her faith attending mass daily and volunteering her time as a sacristan.
Most of us will remember her for her inquisitive and strong nature, she often asked how one was, about their family, how their life and work was going, and the question she was most interested in was whether you liked to go out dancing.
Though Kika never reared children she cared for nieces and nephews as if they were her own, we will forever be grateful to her for loving our children as she did, especially those little ones who she would slip a bill or two into their pockets. She will be missed.
