Francisca Kathryn O’Donnell-Larmer was born on June 27, 1977, at David Grant USAF Medical Center, Travis AFB, in Fairfield, CA. She was the daughter of Dolores Reyes.
Francisca grew up in the states of California and Washington. She graduated from high school in Vacaville, CA, the Class of 1996. In 1999, while living in Lancaster, CA, and working at a Chevron gas station, she met James Larmer. They were united in marriage on September 25, 2004, at South Lake Tahoe. Francisca and James lived in Los Angeles, CA, Utah, and Nevada, before moving to LaBolt, SD, in August of 2017. They also resided in Milbank and most recently in Big Stone City.
Francisca worked as a medical assistant for a few years. She previously worked as an assistant manager at McDonald’s, and also worked in the food service industry. She was a hard worker and worked until ill health forced her early retirement.
Francisca was a devoted Christian and worshiped at Central Church in Milbank and at the Church of Latter-Day Saints. She volunteered at the church and the local nursing homes. She was always involved with a Bible study and enjoyed learning as much as she possibly could. She loved and cherished her family. She always looked forward to family get togethers and family game nights. She and James loved going out to eat. The Millstone, and Ally Cat locally, and Denny’s were absolute favorites! She enjoyed crocheting blankets and giving them to others. She loved visiting and meeting new people. She adored her dogs, Samson and Tala.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, James Larmer Jr. of Big Stone City, SD; two sons: Raymond and Chris Larmer, both of Big Stone City, SD; her mother, Dolores (Jerry) Capwell of Vallejo, CA; grandmother, Henrietta DeLosReyes of Vallejo, Ca; siblings: Tammy (Eric) Schulte of Vacaville, CA; Ike O’Donnell of Herlong, CA; Brandy O’Neill of Aberdeen, SD; brother-in-law, Brandon O’Neill of LaBolt, SD; mother-in-law, Kathy Marley of Canyon Country, CA; sister-in-law, Misty Snitzer of Canyon Country, CA; as well as many nieces, nephews, numerous cousins, great-niece, and great-nephews.
