Frank Alexis Obituary
Franck was born on December 25, 1935 in the city of Grosmarin, Haiti to Izmelie Tilin and Cintange Alexis. He grew up and lived in the countryside and loved to travel. He had a love for sports and was an avid soccer fan. He held many businesses and had an entrepreneurial spirit that helped him provide opportunities for himself and his family. He made a life for himself in Dorchester, Massachusetts where he resided 27 years. In 2018, he moved to New York to be closer to family, where he lived till his passing.
Franck will be remembered for his love of the Celtics, soccer, and Haitian kompa music. His impeccable style and grace set him apart from his peers and left an impression on all who knew him.
Franck is survived by his daughters, Izemene Borno, Elmanie Pierre, Anasta Raymond, son in laws, Delva Borno Sr., Patrick Raymond, grandchildren, Delva Borno Jr., Nathaniel Borno, Naomi Ballah, Widler Preval, Thamar Raymond, Vladimir Preval, Alexandra Woodard, Jonathan Raymond and great grandchildren, LailaJames Ballah, Karson Preval, Kamryn Preval, Nova Ballah, Amina Woodard, and Mya Woodard.
His life will be celebrated on Saturday November 22, 2025.
