Frank Bella, 79, of Edison passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at John F. Kennedy Medical Center in Edison.
Born in Jersey City, Frank has resided most of his adult life in Edison and was employed with General Motors for over 30 years until retiring. Frank was very generous throughout his life, always willing to lend a helping hand and was a true family man. He enjoyed getting together with his family, especially for Sunday dinners. Frank will be remembered as a loving and kind father and grandfather who was always determined in life, never giving up on anyone or any task at hand.
Frank was predeceased by his parents, Vincent and Mary Bella. Surviving are his long time companion, Tina Guido; children, Vincent Bella with his partner Karen Brannigan, Frank Bella with his wife Kelly, Ilona Bella with her partner John Garzino; grandchildren, Vincent, Jr., Nicholas and Madison Bella; siblings, Rose Ann Bella and Harry Bella with his wife Patricia; nephew, Vincent Bella with his wife Cecelia, niece, Patricia Bella; great nephew, Anthony Bella and great niece, Karina Bella.
Funeral services will begin at 10am on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from GERITY & CHUBENKO FUNERAL HOME, 411 Amboy Avenue, Woodbridge followed by a 10:30am Mass of Christian Burial at St. James R.C. Church in Woodbridge. Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 from 4pm to 8pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Frank may be made to American Cancer Society.
