Mr. Frank Bennett III July 22, 1952 - October 22, 2025 Frank Bennett III age 73 of New Tazewell passed away peacefully at his home on October 22, 2025, with family by his side. Junior as he was known was born July 22, 1952, in Harlan, Ky to Frank (Bud) and Mary Bennett who preceded him in death.
Junior was a man of strong faith and loved helping others. He served as deacon at Carr's Branch Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing on Norris Lake, as well as deer and squirrel hunting in the woods. He loved to make people laugh and shared words of wisdom that his children and grandchildren will aways cherish. He was proud of his family and especially his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his brother James Otis (Corky) Bennett and wife Carol, sister Elizabeth Napier, nephew Mitchel Napier and great-nephew Brandon Pugh.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Joyce Bennett, daughter Ashley Miracle and husband Jason and son Kyle Bennett. Grandchildren Braeden and Maxen Bennett, McKinley, Easton and Sawyer Miracle. Several nieces and nephews and host of many other relative's friends and church family. The family would like to thank SunCrest Hospice for all their care and compassion during the journey.
The family will be having a graveside service Friday October 24, 2025 at 4:00pm at the Phillip Keck Cemetery with the Rev. Sam Sweet, the Rev. David Mullins and the Rev. Jason Miracle officiating.
Pallbearers: Braeden Bennett, Maxen Bennett, John Fint, Mike Harrod, Brad Merrill and Gary Fuson.
Honorary Pallbearers: Vernon Fuson, Randall McNew (Turkey), Jimmy Wollard, Tommy Fint, Jim Harrod, Marvin Baird, Easton Miracle and Sawyer Miracle.
